Frequently Asked Questions

How do I access the thermostat?

Radiators and their pipes and valves come in all different shapes, sizes and configurations.  The Standard size cabinets do not have an access hole for the thermostat.  We usually suggest that as most people do not adjust their thermostat on their radiator on a daily basis then this is also covered by the cabinet.  If accessing the Thermostat regularly is important to you, then we suggest that you purchase a made to measure radiator cover and we can cut an access oval hole for you.

Can I still get to the valves easily?

We supply brackets with the cabinets that need to be screwed into the wall just above the radiator.  The cabinet is then attached/hung on the brackets.  The cabinet can then be lifted off for access to the valves or for cleaning.

How does the cover attach to the wall?

I can't see a phone number on the webpage?

Nikki handles all the questions and enquiries and is very friendly.  She does however have a hearing issue and tends to avoid the phone, so we prefer correspondence by email: info@woldswood.co.uk.  If you have a radiator with an issue that is tricky to describe, please send us a photo as this always helps!
